Jennifer discovered her passion for writing about film as a graduate student in San Francisco. That—and other passions—sent her to Spain. There, she worked as a correspondent for the trade journal Screen International and later The Hollywood Reporter, and she completed a doctorate in Cultural Studies. While continuing to freelance as a reporter, columnist and film critic for a variety of magazines, newspapers and websites, Jennifer has enjoyed teaching journalism and film to college students for the last two decades.
